400,000 New Air Seats: Jamaica Targets Canadian Tourists in Winter

Jamaica is actively seeking to attract travelers from Canada during the winter season, with approximately 400,000 airline seats available for this period. It is expected that Canadian airlines' capacity will increase by 62.1% between January and April 2027. As part of these recovery efforts, Jamaican Tourism Minister Edward Bartlett is launching a marketing campaign covering five Canadian cities to promote the islands as an attractive alternative destination in the Caribbean.
