The 2026 Fukuoka Botanical Festival Highlights Distinct Cultural Heritage

The Fukuoka Botanical Festival will be held from October 10 to 18, 2026, offering visitors of the island an opportunity to experience Hokkien Chinese heritage. The festival includes temple rituals, street parades such as Iw Keng, fire rituals and bridge crossings, along with community traditions. It concludes with farewell ceremonies for the Jade Emperor and the Nine Deities at Saven Hien.
