Record number of hotel projects in Asia-Pacific: 2,684 projects

According to a report by TravelDailyNews Asia, the number of hotel development projects in the Asia-Pacific region (excluding China) reached a record level of 2,684 projects and 473,560 rooms during the third quarter of 2026.

This growth is mainly attributed to India, with a focus on luxury hotel projects and early-stage planning, reflecting the strength of the hospitality sector in the region.
