Cicada Market — Hua Hin
🖼️ Cicada MarketHua Hin
⏱️ Time needed: 2 to 3 hours📅 Best time: Friday to Sunday evenings, from around sunset onward.

Cicada is Hua Hin's arts-and-crafts night market, and a cut above the usual souvenir stalls. It runs on weekend evenings only, from Friday to Sunday, in the Khao Takiab area at the southern edge of town. The layout is open and green, built around a grassy amphitheatre where live bands, acoustic singers and occasional theatre play through the night. Stalls lean toward handmade goods: original paintings, ceramics, leather, printed tees and quirky home decor, much of it made by the sellers themselves. A separate food zone called Cicada Cuisine serves Thai and international dishes at tables under the trees, so you can eat properly rather than just snack. It is relaxed, walkable and good for families, with space for kids to roam. The adjacent Tamarind Market covers more street food if Cicada feels too polished. Arrive after dark, when the lights and the music hit their stride.

💡Tip: Pair it with the neighbouring Tamarind Market next door for cheaper street-food options.
